15 Days Indonesia People, Culture and Nature Tour

DAY 01 : MEDAN - PARAPAT
On arrival at Polonia Airport of Medan, meeting service then drive to Parapat via Pematang Purba to see Lingga traditional village Sipisopiso waterfall and house of the Batak Simalungun Kings. Afternoon arrive in Parapat  and direct cruise on Lake Toba to check-in to Toledo Inn Hotel for accommodation. (L,D)

DAY 02 : SAMOSIR ISLAND TOUR
Breakfast at hotel. An excurtion on Lake Toba and Samosir Island for visiting Simanindo traditional village, Ambarita  and Tomok to see the traditional dance performance, the tomb of King Sida Butar which is made of neolithic stone 400 years ago, the old houses of Batak toba and chairs made of stone architecture style. Return to hotel. (B,L,D)

DAY 03 : PARAPAT - PADANGSIDEMPUAN
Breakfast at hotel. Board the boat and transfer to Parapat, then drive via the mountain route to the interior of North Sumatera up to the Padangsidempuan the land of the Batak mandailing. On the way make some stop at several villages such as : Jangga Pitoluan to see ancient traditional Batak Toba village, Balige to enjoy panoramic view of lake Toba. Arrive in Padangsidempuan and check-in to Samudera Hotel or similiar for accomodation. (B,L,D)

DAY 04 : PADANGSIDEMPUAN - BUKIT TINGGI
Breakfast at hotel.  Depart along drive to the lovely toen of Bukit Tinggi in the Wet Sumatera province. On the way stop will be made at Sosor Tolang and Purba baru village (Moeslem school ), Rimbo Panti and the Equater and Bonjol village. Accommodation at Pusako Hotel. (B,L,D)

DAY 05: BUKIT TINGGI - PADANG
Breakfast at hotel. Morning explore in the land of Minangkabau for visiting the Pagaruyung Palace then drive via Lake Singkarak to see Lake Maninjau. Return to Bukit Tinggi then drive to Padang the capital town of West Sumatra. Overnight in Sedona hotel or similar. (B,L,D)

DAY 06 : PADANG - JAKARTA - SEMARANG
Breakfast at hotel. transfer to the airport for flight to Semarang ( Java Island ) via Jakarta. On arrival in Semarang, our guide will meet you and transfer to Patrajasa Hotel for accommodation.

DAY 07 : SEMARANG - PANGKALANBUN
Breakfast at hotel. Upon arrival at Iskandar Aiport of Pangkalan Bun, our guide will meet you and transfer to Kumai. Lunch at local restaurant. Then we board a “klotok”(typical long boat) go up the Sekonyer river to Rimba Lodge for accommodation. If time permit, a short trip up the river may we provide you with your first sighting of probosciss monkey or bekantan (Nasalis larvatus). (B,L,D) DAY 08 : CAMP LEAKY
Breakfast at camp. Fullday excursion through the Tanjung Puting National Park to see agile gibbons, black handed gibbons  (hylobates agilis ), gray gibbons, proboscis monkeys, crab-eating macagues, larges dragonflies, a several large birds such as hornbilis, eagles & kingfishers, with a little more patience we may see an estuarine crocodile (crocodylus porosus). Then we star up the river to Camp Leaky, the Orang Utan ( Pongo pygmeus), rehabilitation center. At Camp, we trek through the forest for a few hours and return to ranger camp for having lunch. Around 3.00 pm, we walk to feeding palce of the orang utan which have return to the wild. About 5.00 pm return to Rimba Lodge for dinner and accommodation. (B,L,D)

DAY 09 :  PONDOK TANGGUI - NATAI LENGKUAS
Breakfast at camp. Visit a small village nearby of Tanjung Puting, before going up river to Pondok Tanggui to trek in the forest for a few hours to see some semi-wild orang utan being fed. Continue the trip to Natai Lengkuas to see long nose monnkey research. Lunch boxes will be provided. Afternoon back to Rimba Lodge. (B,L,D)

DAY 10 : PANGKALAN BUN - SEMARANG - YOGYAKARTA
After breakfast, board a klotok cruise back to Kumai. Then transfer to the airport for flight to Semarang. Upon arrival at Semarang direct transfer to Yogyakarta. Accommodation at Melia Porusani hotel. In the evening attend the Ramayana Dance performance with dinner. (B,L)

DAY 11 : YOGYAKARTA
Breakfast at hotel. Fullday visiting the world famous Budhist Temple “Borobudur” which is situated 27 miles North west of Yogyakarta, then continue visit to the 9th century Prambanan Hindu temple, Plaosan and Kalasan Temples. Return to hotel. (B)

DAY 12 : YOGYAKARTA - BALI
Breakfast at hotel.Halfday city sightseeing our of Yogya; visit the Sultans palace, Sonobudoyo Museum, the water castle of Taman Sari, Batik Home industry and Kota Gede silver works center. afternoon fly to Denpasar - Bali. On arrival our guide will meet you then transfer to ASTON HOTEL for accommodation.(B)

DAY 13 : BALI
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Batubulan village to attend barong and Keris Dance performance. Then visit art and handicraft villages of Celuk, Batuan, Mas and Ubud, for gold and silver work, hand weaving wood carving and paintings. Proceed to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) a Hindu Meditation Center dating back to the 11th Century, Tampak Siring to see the Holy Spring water Temple Tirta Empul, then to admire the magnificent view combination of the still active Mt. Batur volcano and Lake Batur. Return through Bangli to see 13th century Kehen Temple and breathtaking view of rice terraces and palm trees at Bukit Jati. (B,L)

DAY 14 : BALI
Breakfast at hotel. Fullday free at or joint or optional tour to get to know about Bali more. (B)

DAY 15 : BALI - OUT
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Airport to depart for your next destination. (B)
