DAY
01 : MEDAN
On arrival at Polonia Airport of Medan - North Sumatra, Our guide
will meet you and transfer to Tiara Hotel for accommodation and to
enjoy a welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant. (L,D)
DAY
02 : MEDAN - BRASTAGI - LAKE TOBA
Breakfast at hotel. We drive through the lush mountain of Sumatra
to hill resort and market town of Berastagi. You will also visit a
village of the local tribes people, the formerly cannibalistic Karo.
Explore into Karo Batak tribal territory, we visit Lingga village
to see 32 large painted and decorated longhouses. Then drive via a
plantation road passing Pematang siantar where you can enjoy beautiful
scenery. Afternoon arrive in Parapat direct cruise on Lake Toba
to the island for overnight stay in the quiet town of Tuk Tuk.
On arrival direct check-in to Silintong Hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY
03 : LAKE TOBA
Breakfast at hotel. An excursion on Lake Toba and Samosir island,
visiting traditional village of Simanindo, Ambarita, and Tomok
to see the tomb of King Sida Butar which made of neolithic stone 200
years ago, the old houses of Batak Toba and chairs made of stone architecture
style. Return to hotel. Afternoon free at leisure. (B,L,D)
DAY
04 : LAKE TOBA - SIPIROK
Breakfast at hotel. Leaving Samosir Island and continue our overland
to the South with stop at Balige, a graceful market town. The market
buildings have traditional high sweeping roofs. Balige is known for
its fine Batak tribal cloth. From here you will tarvel southwards,
following the cool highlands to the town of Sipirok. Accommodation
at Torsibohi Nalui Hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY
05 : SIPIROK - BUKIT TINGGI
Breakfast
at hotel. Depart along drive to the lovely toen of Bukit Tinggi in
the Wet Sumatera province. On the way stop will be made at Sosor Tolang
and Purba baru village (Moeslem school ), Rimbo Panti and the Bonjol
Equater Monument. Accommodation and dinner at Pusako Hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY
06 : BUKIT TINGGI
Breakfast at hotel. Explore Bukit Tinggi area, enjoy the spectacular
view of Sianok canyon, visit Ford De Kock with breathtaking view to
Marapi volcanic mountain and museum Putri Bungsu and the briliant
tropical plants of the Panti Nature Reserve. Proceed to the hinterland
of Minangkabau tribe and be with local people to observe their custom
and believed. Return to hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY
07 : BUKIT TINGGI - PADANG
Breakfast at hotel. Drive back to Padang via lake Singkarak, visit Pagaruyung
Kingdom - the only kingdom in Indonesia which has ruled by a Queen.
Afternoon arrive in Padang, direct check-in to Hotel Sedona or similar
for accommodation and meals. (B,L,D)
DAY 08
: PADANG - JAKARTA - YOGYAKARTA
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to Yogyakarta
via Jakarta. On arrival in Jogya, meeting service then transfer Melia
Purosani Hotel for accommodation. In the evening attend the Ramayana
Dance performance with dinner. (B)
DAY 09
: YOGYAKARTA
Breakfast
at hotel. Fullday visiting the world famous Budhist Temple “Borobudur”
which is situated 27 miles North west of Yogyakarta, then continue
visit to the 9th century Prambanan Hindu temple, Plaosan and Kalasan
Temples. Return to hotel. (B)
DAY 10
: YOGYAKARTA - BALI
Breakfast at hotel.Halfday city sightseeing tour of Yogya; visit the
Sultans palace, Sonobudoyo Museum, the water castle of Taman Sari,
Batik Home industry and Kota Gede silver works center. afternoon fly
to Denpasar - Bali. On arrival our guide will meet you then transfer
to ASTON HOTEL for accommodation. (B)
DAY 11
: BALI - UJUNG PANDANG - TORAJA
Breakfast at hotel. We fly to Ujung Pandang - South Sulawesi. Upon
arrival at Hasannudin airport of Ujung Pandang, our guides will meet
you for direct transfer to Tana Toraja. Lunch will be served
in Pare-Pare. Several stops will be made enroute according to local
happenings. Accommodation and dinner at Marante Highland Resort. (B,L,D)
DAY 12
: TANA TORAJA
Breakfast at hotel. Fullday excursion in Tana Toraja includes visits
Lemo where we will find rows of tau-tau and the hanging graves. Onto
Londa to see an ancient natural grave where the deceased are entombed
with big ceremonies. Proceed to Kete Kesu - a traditional Torajan
village where can see the Tongkonan and the old rice-barns and it
is famous for its woodcarving. Lunch will be served in Rantepao. Afternoon
return to hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY 13
: TANA TORAJA - UJUNG PANDANG - DENPASAR
Breakfast
at hotel. Drive back to Ujung Pandang with stop at Puncak Lakawang
for having lunch. Arrival at Ujung Pandang in time to catch your flight
to Denpasar - Bali. On arrival in Denpasar, meeting service
and transfer to Bali Hyatt Hotel for accommodation. (B,L,D)
DAY 14
: DENPASAR
Breakfast at hotel. Driving North this tour will show you the daily
lives of the people of Celuk village recognized as the center of silver
and gold smiths. Then stop at Kemenuh, a village famous for its wood
carvers. Proceed to Ubud, where you visit the homes of artists and
have opportunity to see them at work. Other point of interests you
may visit Ratna Museum, where modern Balinese paintings one display;
Wenara Wana, a small forest nearby inhabited by a group
of playful monkeys; Pengosekan, a village well-known for its handicrafts
(It has become more popular, since Queen Elizabeth II and Prince of
Great Britain visited this village a couple of years ago). (B,L,D)
DAY 15
: DENPASAR
Breakfast at hotel. Morning free at or joint or optional tour to get
to know about Bali more. Evening drive to Legong Restaurant for having
farewell dinner and enjoy “Jogeg Bumbung” the Balinese traditional
dance. (B)
DAY 16
: DENPASAR - OUT
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the aiport for flight to your next
destination.(B)
